Working with Data Sources

Working with data sources in SharePoint Designer 2010 is a twofold process. First, you need to configure the actual data source connection, such as a connection to an external database, which is covered in this chapter. Second, you need to determine how the data returned from the data query is represented within your SharePoint sites, which is covered in Chapter 24. As you work with data sources in SharePoint Designer 2010, you encounter the following terms:
