Search Center and MySite Master Pages

By default, the Search Center in SharePoint Server 2010 uses the minimal.master page. Although the minimal.master page helps to maximize page space, it also poses additional issues. For instance, the minimal.master page does not include navigation and therefore breaks consistency between the Search Center and other subsites throughout a site collection.
