This chapter covered some key concepts of working with CSS in SharePoint 2010 sites, including how to work with CSS in SharePoint Designer and override out-of-the-box styles. The chapter also highlighted the benefits of using browser debugging tools for CSS discovery. For instance, using Firebug in Firefox you can quickly see a preview of each of the colors in a CSS file. Browser tools also enable you to modify existing CSS styles in real time to preview the final output before applying to a site’s CSS file.
