Modify a Property of an Existing Field Control
Note that each of the field controls you added to the page layout in SharePoint Designer include an input label, such as Page Content, which is viewable when editing pages in the Web interface. Usability can be enhanced by removing non-essential input labels.
To remove an input label, follow these steps:
1. In your browser, leave the publishing page in edit mode and minimize the browser window.
2. Restore the SharePoint Designer window to return to the ProjectX page layout. Click within the Page Content field to select it.
