Web Part Page Layout

Web part pages comprise HTML tables and table elements, as demonstrated in Figure 13.1. The TR tag stands for table row, and the TD tag stands for table data cell, or simply table cell (column). Each Web part zone is contained within a TD. The Web part zone houses any Web parts added to the page and enables users to add Web parts to the page via the browser.
