Where to Create Content Pages in SharePoint Designer

Depending on where you choose to create new content pages in SharePoint Designer depends on what other page options are available. For instance, as shown in Table 12.1, there are several left-hand navigational tabs that lead to ribbon commands to create new content pages. Although the All Files tab includes options for creating core content pages, it also includes options for other page types, including CSS, XML, and JavaScript pages. List View pages and List Form pages, also listed, are specific to lists and document libraries and are covered in Chapter 23, “Working with XSLT List View Web Parts (XLVs),” and Chapter 25, “Configuring and Customizing List Forms.”
