The Fundamentals of SharePoint Page Architecture

Because some people reading this chapter are new to SharePoint, this section introduces the basic architecture of SharePoint content pages and describes how content pages and master pages work together. These fundamentals help you understand the concepts of content page creation in SharePoint Designer, discussed in this and subsequent chapters in this book.
