Accessing SharePoint Designer Editing Features Using a Keyboard

A number of editing features in SharePoint Designer 2010 can be accessed using keyboard shortcuts. For instance, pressing the keyboard’s Alt key enables clickable numbers and letters that, in this case, represent those editing features available to the current page. (See Figure 11.36.) Clicking the keyboard shortcut W initiates the ribbon’s View menu. Keyboard shortcuts also honor the ribbon’s contextual state; for instance, in Figure 11.36 the numbers 2, 3, and 5, while present, are disabled because those commands are not within the current context.
