In this chapter, you learned how to create and configure SharePoint lists and libraries in SharePoint Designer, including working with list columns and list content types. You also learned about managing and moving lists, and key differences between configuring lists in the Web interface and SharePoint Designer.

In the next chapter, you learn how to work with SharePoint Designer’s editing features and content pages. Later, you learn how to extend lists and libraries in SharePoint Designer by working with XSLT List View Web Parts and Custom Actions, to add custom buttons to list and library ribbons.
