Post-site Creation Design Tasks

When you create a new site in SharePoint Designer, there are certain post-site creation tasks that you need to address via the Web interface. For example, the URL that you specify, http://sitename/newsite, in the New site creation dialog does not address the Title of the site. Instead, the site’s title is based on the name of the actual site template. For instance, in Figure 8.28, a number of new sites have been created in SharePoint Designer, all using the Team site template, which can be then hard to distinguish based on their appearance in the site collection’s navigation.
