Add a Note Board Web Part to a Page
A great new addition to the social features in SharePoint Server 2010 is the addition of social Web parts, including the Note Board Web Part. Using the Note Board Web Part makes it super easy to allow users to enter comments on pages throughout SharePoint sites.
Note
The Note Board Web Part is not suitable for anonymous sites because it depends directly on user profiles. The Note Board Web Part appears minimized on an anonymous site and anonymous users are not able to view existing comments or add new comments. For an alternative method for adding and submitting user comments on anonymous SharePoint sites, see the “Using Forms on Anonymous Sites: Create a Contact Form” section in Chapter 5.
