Change a Site’s Theme

Themes in SharePoint 2010 are created using either PowerPoint 2007 or PowerPoint 2010 to create an Office theme (THMX) file. This is a vast difference to the process involved for creating themes in SharePoint 2007, which involved interacting with the Web front-end server and modifying XML files. SharePoint 2010 themes include the ability to cloak, or skin, an existing site and change the colors on fonts and images, and also change the font type. The one thing that a SharePoint 2010 theme does not achieve is in modifying the font size.
