Other Tips and Tricks When Working with Anonymous Sites

Although you’ve just learned how to set anonymous access on sites and then work with anonymous access in lists and libraries, there are a couple of other conventions that I’ve applied when working on anonymous sites, which I’ll share here.

One is that you can hide a list or library from the browser by using list settings available in SharePoint Designer. This is a similar concept to leveraging item-level permissions in lists. However, rather than actually securing the list it simply hides it from view.
