Setting Item-Level List Permissions

In addition to setting Permissions for a list, you can also configure item-level list permissions. However, be aware that doing so changes the way anonymous users can access a list form, which I explain throughout this section.

As shown in Figure 4.17, you can set the item-level permissions so that users can only read and edit those items they create and not view other users’ items. Ordinarily, this works well in an internal deployment and limits users to only their own items.
