Setting Anonymous Access on the Site Collection

Now that you’ve configured anonymous access on the Web application, you need to also set anonymous access on the site collection, following these steps:

1. Open the root site of your site collection. From Site Actions, click Site Settings. On the Site Settings page, under Users and Permissions, click Site Permissions.

2. On the Site Permissions page, click the Anonymous Access button in the ribbon’s Manage group to open the Anonymous Access dialog as shown in Figure 4.11. By default, the Nothing option is selected. Instead, select the Entire Web Site option and then click OK. If you instead choose the Lists and Libraries option, then this limits anonymous access.
