Software Prerequisites
A prerequisite installer is included as part of the product’s installation wizard, but in order to take full advantage of the prerequisite installer you need Internet access during installation. For isolated environments, you need to separately download requirements and place them locally and then you can optionally configure the installer regarding where to locate prerequisites. Logging has also been included as part of the install process, and if the installer fails to find prerequisites it logs those details, including attempted URLs, to fetch any prerequisites. • SQL Server 2008 Analysis Services
