Creating a Key Performance Indicator (KPI)

This recipe shows you how to create a Key Performance Indicator based on data held in SharePoint list.

Getting ready

This recipe works for:

  • SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Edition
  • SharePoint 2010 Online (Office 365 Edition)

You will require a SharePoint site where you intend to create the KPI and a SharePoint list containing the data to report on. We will use the SharePoint site and Sales data list from the previous recipe for illustration.

You will need the Design or Full Control permission level to run this recipe.
