Content Type Syndication Hubs
A site collection feature that can be enabled is the Content Type Syndication Hub, and this provisions a site to be an enterprise metadata hub site. When a content type is created in a content type hub, the content type will be available to other site collections that are part of web applications associated with that Managed Metadata Service instance. The Content Type Hub and Content Type Subscriber jobs needs to run for the content type to be synchronized and logs to be update. Note that in Site Settings for the Content Type Syndication Hub site collection, the tool Content Type Publishing provides a check box to Refresh All Published Content Types on Next Update.
