Chapter 21. Creating and Customizing Visual Reports

Like the basic reports, visual reports provide project data for all aspects of your project. They are fully customizable in both their content and their appearance. Also, you have the ability to create a visual report from scratch. Whereas the basic reports provide information in a text format, visual reports display information in graphs, charts, tables, diagrams, and other visual mediums. They are much more versatile than the basic reports in their functionality and customization options.

This chapter discusses how to fully utilize Microsoft Project’s visual report templates, how to customize them to work best for you, and how to create new visual reports from scratch.
