The OMS agent for Linux is a lightweight agent with monitoring and data collection capabilities based on a CIM server listener and an open source data aggregator, Fluentd, respectively. The CIM server comprises the underlying providers for operating system, Apache, MySQL, container and other cross-platform monitoring, and the Fluentd-based data collection supports the collection of syslog, Docker data, and alert collection from Zabbix and Nagios. Through these features the Linux agent enables rich, real-time analytics for operational data.
