When you install the Antimalware Assessment solution in your workspace, the OMS agents installed on connected sources for your workspace collect data about the protection status of computers in your environment, and about detected threats.
In determining the state of antimalware protection in your environment, the Antimalware solution collects and analyzes metadata, state data, and configuration data.
This data is then relayed to the Log Analytics service, where the data gets analyzed and insights into your malware protection status are visualized in the solution dashboard.
