Collecting the Apache HTTP server performance counters

When you install the OMS agent for Linux, the agent looks for an instance of Apache HTTP server, and, if detected, the apache-cimprov package with the performance monitoring provider for Apache HTTP server will be automatically installed. The provider uses the Apache module to access performance data from the Apache HTTP server. This module must be loaded into the Apache HTTP server. Perform the following steps:

  1. Use the following command to load the module into the Apache HTTP server:
sudo /opt/microsoft/apache-cimprov/bin/apache_config.sh -c

You can subsequently unload the module using the following command:

sudo /opt/microsoft/apache-cimprov/bin/apache_config.sh -u
