Failover an Azure VM(s) to secondary Azure region

The process will failover an Azure VM from one region to another:

Navigate to the Azure Portal (https://portal.azure.com) and sign in.
In the Azure Portal, type Recovery Services in the Search resources search field and select Recovery Services vaults.
Select and click the vault name to work in.
Under Manage, click Recovery Plans (Site Recovery), click your recovery plan name, click ...More and click Failover.
On the Failover screen, confirm the direction of failover and, from the drop down menu, select a Recovery Point to failover to.

For the recovery point, you can select between Latest, which is the default and has the lowest RPO; Latest processed, which provides a low RTO, and Latest ...
