Ignoring SQL Assessment recommendations

In the event that you find an assessment recommendation to not be applicable to or relevant to your environment, you can ignore the recommendation. To ignore a recommendation, follow these steps:

1. In Log Search in the Azure Portal or your OMS Portal, enter the following query to list all failed recommendations:

SQLAssessmentRecommendation | where RecommendationResult == "Failed" | sort by Computer asc | project Computer, RecommendationId, Recommendation
  

2. Review the returned records and choose the recommendations you would like to ignore. For each recommendation, take note of the values for the RecommendationId record property.
3. Create a text file and name it IgnoreRecommendations.txt.
