Creating a webhook for a Runbook

Perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the Azure portal at http://portal.azure.com and sign in.
  2. In the Azure portal, type Automation Accounts and select and open your automation account.
  3. From the hub, select Runbooks and open the list of Runbooks.
  4. From the Runbooks blade in the Azure portal, click the Runbook that the webhook will start.
  5. Click Webhook at the top of the blade to open the Add Webhook blade.
  6. Specify a name, enabled status (yes or no), and an expiration date.
  7. Copy and record the URL.
  8. Click Parameters to specify the webhook parameters, and click Create to finish.
