Configuring a member server to send AD replication data to Log Analytics

If you don't have agents on your domain controllers, you can still collect AD replication data from member servers in your environment. To do this:

1. Verify that the member servers are part of the domain you would like to collect replication data for.
2. Install the OMS agent on the member servers directly or manage it using a connected SCOM management group.

3. Configure the following registry key on the member servers:

• Key : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetServicesHealthServiceParametersManagementGroups<ManagementGroupName>SolutionsADReplication
• Value : IsTarget
• Value Data : true
