When configured in alert rules, email actions send emails with the details of the alert to one or more recipients. Email notifications will include summary information about the alert, including the name of the alert, severity, Log Analytics workspace name, information about the search query, and details of up to 10 records returned by the search query.
The email notification also includes a link to a log search in Log Analytics that will return all the records referenced in the alert that triggered the email notification:
