The ITSM Connector provides a bi-directional integration between Log Analytics and a supported ITSM product. This connection enables the creation of alerts, incidents, or events in the ITSM product based on Log Analytics alerts generated by the alert rules, and through the bi-directional connection, the connector can also import ITSM product data such as change requests and incidents into Log Analytics.
After setting up the integration between the ITSM product and Log Analytics, the work items selected during the connector configuration are imported into OMS Log Analytics and can be viewed in the IT Service Management Connector solution tile:
