The default replication policy setting for Azure VMs does not enable multi-VM consistency. Multi-VM consistency replicates machines together. If this is enabled, all machines in the replication group would need to communicate with each other over port 20004. This port applies to both Windows and Linux computers. It is therefore important to ensure that there are no restrictions to internal communication between the VMs over port 20004 if you desire multi-VM consistency.
