How to do it...

To create a recovery plan:

Navigate to the Azure Portal (https://portal.azure.com) and sign in.
In the Azure Portal, type Recovery Services in the Search resources search field and select Recovery Services vaults.
Select and click the vault name to work in.

Under Manage, click Recovery Plans (Site Recovery) and then click +Recovery plan. Enter a name for the plan and specify a source and target based on the following scenarios:

ASR Scenario	Source	Target
Azure VMs to Azure	Azure region	Azure region
Hyper-V (without VMM) to Azure	Hyper-V site	Azure
VMM to Azure	VMM server	Azure
VMware/ Physical server to Azure	Configuration server	Azure
VMM to secondary VMM	VMM servers	VMM ...
