Backing up a Virtual Machine in Azure

This tutorial will review the steps for backing up a single VM in Azure:

1. Navigate to the Azure Portal (https://portal.azure.com) and sign in.
2. In the Azure Portal, type Virtual machines in the Search resources search field and select Virtual machines.
3. From the list of Virtual machines, choose a VM to back up:

4. In the Settings section of the VM blade, click Backup
5. In the Enable backup window, under Recovery Services vault, leave the Select existing option and, from the drop down, select the vault created in the Getting ready section of this recipe
