When protecting workloads with ASR an important consideration is that of network mapping to ensure that when you failover a VM or workload to Azure or a secondary site, the replicated VM is created on the network that is mapped to the network of the source VM. There are various mapping strategies that can be employed for the various ASR scenarios, including mapping between Azure regions, mapping for Hyper-V VM replication, and other on-premises to Azure scenarios.
