Failback Hyper-V VM(s) from secondary site to primary site

Once VMs are running in the secondary site, you can failback to the primary site. You'll need to ensure that the primary and secondary VMM servers are connected to ASR:

  1. Navigate to the Azure Portal (https://portal.azure.com) and sign in.
  2. In the Azure Portal, type Recovery Services in the Search resources search field and select Recovery Services vaults.
  3. Select and click the vault name to work in.
  4. Under Settings | Replicated items, right-click the VM(s) and enable Reverse Replicate to start replicating the VM back to the primary site.
If the primary VM is not available, restore the VM from a backup before starting the reverse replication process.
