To use the Wire Data 2.0 solution, enable the Insights and Analytics offering in the Azure Portal or add the solution directly from the Solution Gallery in the OMS portal or the Azure marketplace. Although the Dependency Agent is responsible for monitoring and collecting the relevant Wire data, it relies on the OMS agent for its connections to Log Analytics, and, as such, you must install the OMS agents on any Windows or Linux computers that you wish to collect wire data from. Note that the Dependency Agent must be installed on 64-bit machines because the solution does not support 32-bit operating system architectures.
