Saving Pages, Sections, and Notebooks in Alternative File Formats
Save OneNote material in an alternative file format so that others who don’t have OneNote can read the material. OneNote offers a host of different ways to save pages, sections, and notebooks in alternative file formats.
To save in a different format, click the File tab and choose Save As to open the Save As window. From there, choose whether you want to save a page, section, or your notebook; choose a file format; and click the Save As button.
OneNote offers these Save As options:
Option | Saves | As |
---|---|---|
OneNote 2010 section (*.one) | A page or section | A OneNote 2010 section file. |
OneNote 2007 section (*.one) | A page or section | A OneNote 2007 section file. Use this option for backward compatibility ... |
