2.6. Ribbon Menu Design Tab: Power Formatting

In this section we'll add some final touches to the PivotTable/PivotChart. Adjusting the look and feel of a Business Intelligence presentation involves subjective judgment calls and is best explored through a trial-and-error process. Luckily, Office 2007 has a Ribbon menu feature called Live Preview, which is an incredible help in trying out different styles from the Ribbon menu.

Basically we can mouse over the various color combinations in the Style Gallery and see the effect on the PivotTable without having to actually choose any of them! We'll explore this Live Preview and other Ribbon menu Design options as we continue to hone the presentation quality of our Business Intelligence display.
