The real power of Excel is realized when it's connected to external data. This chapter explores in some detail the various data sources that are supported from within Excel 2007 using Office Data Connections. As an example, Excel's Text Import Wizard is so powerful that database experts often use it to bring miscellaneous data files into an Excel table where it's easy to work with data.
