Positioning Graphics on the Page

No matter how dazzling or relevant your graphics, placing them haphazardly on the page will diminish their impact and undermine your message. Word provides you with some handy tools so that you can get all your artwork laid out properly.

Align to the Page

  1. Click to select a picture or a drawing, if it isn’t already selected. On the Picture Tools Format tab or the Drawing Tools Format tab, click the Align button, and choose View Gridlines to display a nonprinting layout grid on the page.
