Creating and Using a Template

Templates make life so much simpler. After you’ve labored over a document that you plan to use over and over again—like a business card or a newsletter—you can save it as a template. Then when it’s time to create the next one, you need only open the template, replace existing text or images with new ones, and you’re done.

In this exercise, you will save a postcard publication as a postcard template. You will then use the template to create a postcard for an upcoming spring sale.
