Key Points

  • Messages to you appear in your Inbox. You can see the first few lines of each message in AutoPreview, open a message in its own window, or preview messages in the Reading Pane.

  • You can reply to the sender or to the sender and all other recipients using the Reply and Reply to All buttons. A copy of each e-mail message you send is stored in the Sent Mail folder.

  • You can add attachments to your messages using the Insert File button.

  • You can store e-mail addresses in an address book so that when you send a message, you can click the To button in the Message form and then select recipients by name.

  • You can send instant messages to your contacts who have also added you to their contact list by using the Person Names Smart Tag.
