What This Book is Not

This book assumes that you have a working knowledge of SharePoint Server 2007 administration or that you have access to that information. We will assume that you understand most SharePoint Server 2007 concepts and the how-to of those concepts. This is not a how-to book. Instead, this is a book about deployment best practices and design concepts. If you need to learn how to install, configure, and administrate SharePoint Server 2007, then we would advise you to read the following two books:
