Business Requirements and Search

In order to know which content sources you’ll need to crawl and the sources for which you’ll need to build Federated Location Definition (FLD) files, you’ll need to understand your business requirements for your search implementation. Your business requirements for search will drive how you implement SharePoint Server 2007 search or Search Server 2008 via the SharePoint Server 2007 interface.
