12.5. Summary

CSS is one of the primary tools for Web designers to implement standardized styling across Web sites, helping to reduce redundancy and improve productivity. This chapter discussed some concepts about CSS to familiarize you with the CSS terminology. Then, I showed you how you can use the SharePoint Designer user interface to create and manage styles on Web pages. I took you through a number of exercises to familiarize you with the Apply Styles, Manage Styles, and CSS Properties task panes. You also learned about creating a CSS layout and using the CSS reporting features.
