Set Project to manually control connection state. This allows selecting to connect to the desired account and gives the user an option to not load resource summary data.
Use Software Policy to establish Project 2003 default options.
Create and use enterprise project templates for all future projects. Set options in the templates.
Create enterprise templates prior to setting custom fields as required.
Validate custom field formulas in a project prior to adding to the Enterprise Global template.
Create custom objects in the Enterprise Global template to standardize process and views.
Allow the Enterprise Global template to be saved by the primary and backup administrator only.
