About the Author

Jim Boyce has been a farmhand, an engineering technician and production planner for a large shipyard, and a UNIX system administrator. He also spent seven years as a senior instructor for Texas State Technical College, where he taught electromechanical design, basic drafting, CAD, and programming. He has owned and managed an Internet service business that provided Internet access and Web development services. Jim is now an independent consultant on a broad range of technologies and services.
