Setting Up adManager

Both adManager and the E-Mail Marketing are add-on services in Office Live Small Business, which means that you pay an additional fee to use the services. With adManager, you set a budget for the amount you want to spend each month in search engine advertising. The cost is reasonable, and the process is simple.

To get started with adManager, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Activate Now link in the Getting Started item for the service you want to add.

  2. In the Ad Settings page (see Figure 9-2), click the Language arrow and choose the language in which you want your ad to appear.

  3. Click the Location arrow and select whether you want the ad to appear worldwide, in specific countries or regions, or only in selected cities.
