Setting Page Headers and Footers

The page header is likely to be the first thing most of your site visitors notice. It offers your site a title (which may be your company name), a tag line, and a Web search area (if you choose to display it). The page footer probably won’t get as much attention. (We know statistically that most site visitors—unless they are really interested in your content—will read whatever they find in the first screenful of information and infrequently scroll down to the bottom of the page.)
