The Picture Control

A picture control allows the user to insert an image into an InfoPath form. To position a picture control on the form area, simply drag the picture control from the Controls task pane to the desired spot. You will be asked if you want the user to be able to save the picture data directly into the form, or whether the picture data should be saved separately in a linked file.

For example, take the situation of an engineer who is visiting a site on a safety inspection. Armed with a digital camera, the safety inspector can take photos of a piece of equipment that's causing safety concerns, or she might choose to take digital images to document that a piece of equipment is in good condition.
