Publishing a Web Site to a Local Folder
If you have developed a FrontPage-based Web site on your local machine and you want to move the Web site files to a different location or create a copy of the Web site, it is prudent to publish the site to the new location rather than simply moving or copying the files in Windows Explorer. This guarantees that the underlying structure of the site will be updated as necessary to maintain the integrity of the links.
