Printing Row and Column Headings on Each Page

When you print a worksheet in which the data doesn’t fit on a single screen, you might have trouble remembering which data is stored in which column. Rather than make you look back to the top of the worksheet, or even type your headings where you guess the screen transitions occur, you can have Excel print your column and row headings at the top of every page. By printing the column and row headings on each page, you will save time, improve accuracy, and reduce frustration when dealing with large worksheets.

Identify the Rows and Columns to Repeat

1. Click the Page Layout tab.
